Digitalmediathoughts has an article on Photo workflow and comparisons of JPG and RAW fileformats. It seems like RAW wins head on. If only it wasnt that much work to work on the RAW images compared to using Google Picasa with JPG files.

An Introduction to Time-Lapse Photography
It is hard for me to believe that this is the tenth year of up dating the Time-Lapse Photography FAQ. With all the advances in digital cameras there is more to write about than ever. I will attempt to get across the fundamentals of working with digital cameras in the new chapter completely devoted to digital Time-lapse. I have also included a full chapter on Construction Time-Lapse a current hot topic with many new uses for the current series of digital cameras.
I would like to thank all of the great photographers and engineers that have written and called in the past year. Your insights and strange requests have keep me thinking that there are many new directions to go in the world of time-lapse photography.

Or how to sell your own pictures to a large audience ….
Microstock photo agencies sells photos for prices between $1USD and $10USD. The price is split between agencie and photographer. Buyers are businesses, papers, private persons, etc.
Whats interesting about Microstock agencies is that amateurs can contribute photos for sale. You dont have to be a professional photographer with expensive professional equipment.

There are also more professional agencies thats possible to sell your pictures to, but the quality demands on equipment makes you need 12 MP cameras and better. Not the cheapest gear, thats for sure.
The last issue of Practical Photography has an interesting article about how to sell your pictures with advice on equipment, agencies and how to edit your picture to atract possible buyers. It’s for sale on your local news agency.

PhotoMosaic facilitates very easy and fast creation of picture mosaics. The final image comprises about a thousand tiny images (thumbnails). But, unlike other software, PhotoMosaic allows you to obtain a good result using very few pictures. However, an optimum result requires big pictures, so, with the monitor, it is inherently rather difficult to visualize the result obtained. The software is therefore intended more for printing.
