This tutorial is made for my brother in law Espen, but can be used by anyone using Gallery2.

1. First you need to go to the homepage of Gallery. Use the login link.
   
2. Enter your Username, password and catchpa (computergenerated code)
   
3. Click the link Add a photo
   
4. Click the link Add Album
   
5. Enter esential information about the album
1. Name is the most critical field to fill out. I prefer to start the name with the date the album is created, 060829This-is-the-title, Year first, then month and day. This makes it easier to fetch the album from the fileserver later if this is needed.
2. Please use no spaces or norwegian characters in the Name field.
3. Push the Create button
6. Choose Upload applet and push the Add pictures button
   
   
7. Choose the pictures you want to upload
   
8. Push the Upload button
   
9. Limit access to see the album
1. The Gallery is limited to registered users only
2. New User registration must be done from the Register link at http://espen.skagen.bz
3. Espen must approve new members

Goal:
We want to add a NFS service on a running SME Server install, to transform SME into a NAS-enabled server for our Linux/*BSD boxes (NAS aka Network Area Storage). For this purpose, i added a hard disk dedicated to the NFS into my server, which is entirely formatted as one big ext3 partition mounted onto /mnt/exports. DISCLAIMER !! Whereas it’s a largely used protocol, NFS is sometimes not considered secure. Care to use it only on a well-controlled LAN, and not to export all your datas to the outside internet.

Eirik Solheim from the good technoblogg eirikso.com has an interesting article about bad marketing from norwegian electronic retail shops. The interesting thing about this is an experiment from Eirik where he tries to drive trafic to his site and get a high ranking at Google to demonstrate that he “shows them that an article that says that they’re all morons hits better than their own shops”.

This review is extremley positive to the new Linux distribution Dreamlinux. Whats so special about Dreamlinux? Mostly the look and feel of the Desktop. Most of todays Linux Distributions try to mimic Windows XP and it’s cousins. Dreamlinux on the contrary gets most of its inspiration from Apple’s OSX. It manages this with the use of the XFCe Desktop.

My personal experience with Dreamlinux is as a rescue system. I managed to boot a PC with an unbootable Windows installation. I then could read the NTFS filesystem and use FTP to transfer important documents to a FTP-server.
